"Creative" Gerald DePrie (1935-1999)

reclusive Outsider living in Huntington West Virginia, DePrie
was a Navy Veteran. A combination of health conditions led
him to spend much of his time creating art. God, omens and
a belief in his personal phychic abilities influenced his
subject matter and artistic drive. His work is in the permanent
collection of the Huntington Museum of Art and was exhibited
in the American Visionary Art Museum. |
