Louis Monza (1897-1984)
Born in Turate, Italy, Moza moved to the US in 1913. He served in the U.S. Army and later worked as a housepainter and railroad-hand. As a self-taught artist, he worked in a variety of mediums throughout his career. He began creating art full-time after suffering from a debilitating spinal injury.
